Electronic Arts announced some new titles, and we’ve got the details here, along with some trailer goodness…

EA’s E3 press conference featured some big name games, as well as oft-requested Star Wars title, Battlefront.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be developed using the Frostbite 3 engine, but not much else is known about the title at this time. EA spent more time talking about known properties, including FIFA 14.

FIFA 14 is being hailed by EA as “The next generation of football”, and the latest trailer shows off the visual splendour of the new instalment, and is accompanied by interviews with Barcelona players, describing their feelings on the great game.

EA also had a trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition, which has the unenviable task of following the much-criticised DAII. Narrated by popular character, Morrigan, the trailer is CG only, but depicts a huge battle, and world-ending consequences. Players will travel to Orlais, the setting of the title, and will have to investigate the causes of the war, and possibly stop it before it’s too late.

More moral choices will no doubt abound, and the game may also introduce multiplayer to the license when it arrives in Fall 2014.

Mirror’s Edge 2 was officially unveiled with a teaser trailer. The trailer, which claims is all in-game footage, looks very similar to the original, but the next game will hopefully feature an improved control system and a much better combat engine, an area where the original faltered.

The story will be an origin tale for protagonist, Faith, seen clearly here as she gets her distinctive tattoos.

Need For Speed: Rivals has already been revealed, but EA had a new trailer which demonstrates the story and a dose of cops versus racers play, a major focus of the game.

The title will utilise dual screens, and players can team up, with one taking to the skies in a chopper in order to help the other player on the ground.

Need For Seed: Rivals will be released on November 19 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with Xbox One and PS4 versions following later in the year.
