EA’s new gaming engine, Ignite, was shown at the Xbox One reveal, and here’s the official trailer, including a peek at FIFA 14…
First seen at Microsoft’s Xbox One unveiling, EA’s new Ignite engine is the vehicle that promises to bring that all-important next gen sporting polish to the new breed of games consoles, and you can see the trailer below.
As you can see from the clip, the trailer focuses on the four games announced by EA in the Xbox One reveal, FIFA, Madden NFL, NBA Live and UFC, and the level of realism in the visuals is very impressive.
EA has promised a much more lifelike experience that will encompass the whole gamut of presentation, including living worlds, true player motion and the potentially overly-ambitious claims of human-like intelligence.
We’ll have to wait and see if EA’s new engine can live up to all of these lofty goals, and we’ll be able to delve deeper into the engine and the games it’s set to power at E3. For now, check out the trailer.
